Since God knows what niche we are to fill, let us trust Him to shape us to it. Since He knows what work we are to do, let us trust Him to drill us to the proper preparation.

Emilie: She desperately needs to stop sucking her tumb. Her teeth/gums are already getting ruined and we don't want them getting worse. Please claim the keys for a miracle. We've tried everything else but to no avail! :D We need miracles!

Tisha: She's got bad eczema on her legs and it's starting to irritate her. Please pray for complete healing and especially that it won't affect her (our) sleep at night.

So, our family finally decides that it's about time we head out into the open to see "the big bad world" for parent day (yeah, we haven't really done that yet since coming here). We were on our way to another home (two hours away) for a birthday party when just a mile away from home our trusty little van decides it would be oh.so.exciting to have a "little" breakdown on the highway--as in completely kaput! Hallelujah! So, we sat in the van, read books, ate snacks, waited for tow-trucks, rode in tow-trucks (some of us), watched videos, etc...I even took pictures of the fun! I think we juiced that lemon pretty well! We ended up going to the party after all...in a smaller car...which only half of our family fit in. Oh well! We'll have to try heading out there again sometime. It was a good try though! :P PTL, it was a fun parent day anyway. Here are some pictures.
